Center for CBT in East Brunswick is Now Hiring a Post Doctoral Fellow and Licensed Psychologist
The Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a group psychology private practice in East Brunswick, NJ, is looking to hire a licensed psychologist and post-doctoral fellow. We are a passionate group of psychologists dedicated to providing personalized, research-supported clinical services for children, adolescents, and families with a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. We also partner with schools and organizations to provide consultations, professional development workshops, and clinical services.
The position consists of providing evidence-based treatment with individuals and/or families within the candidate’s areas of specialization. This includes individual treatment as well as collaboration with outside medical professionals and school personnel as needed. Candidates whose areas of specialization align with or expand on our current services are encouraged to apply. We currently have staff with primary expertise in treating anxiety disorders, Tourette syndrome, trichotillomania, disruptive behavior disorders, trauma, and school-based consultation. We also have a comprehensive adolescent DBT Program. We are particularly interested in expanding our services for youth with Asperger’s and/or autism spectrum disorders (ABA), psychological/neuropsychological testing needs, and adolescent and adult DBT.
The position can be part-time or full-time, based on mutual interest. Timing for start date is flexible. The position is ideal for clinicians looking to be part of a relaxed, collegial, team-oriented, and flexible work environment. Training and supervision in providing evidence-based treatments will be provided. Competitive compensation, including 401K program and professional development stipend. Supervision for post-doctoral candidates consistent with NJ guidelines. Psychologists in the school setting who are looking for part time private practice work are welcome to apply.
